Summer exercise isn't always comfortable, but the golden hour is a game-changer - and you don't have to be a morning person to enjoy it. And here's a tip: taking a short walk after dinner (even 15-20 minutes), can help lower stress levels and even regulate blood sugar. Plus, you'll get some vitamin D and quality time with others. It’s been a looong time since I’ve introduced myself but Hello! I’m Erika Behrmann, Registered Dietitian and Board certified in sports nutrition and diabetes care and education.

I have been working in the field for over 6 years now with experience as a dietitian assistant, LNA, working for a local food magazine, and TA in nutrition at the university level. I specialize in optimizing fueling and performance for active individuals including elite athletes of all ages 🏃‍♀️ blood sugar management for endocrine issues including insulin resistance, PCOS, and type 1 and 2 diabetes 🩸 and for women’s health in prenatal and postnatal 🤰🏼 balancing hormones and healthy aging 🏋️ I also love working with brides! 👰🏼‍♀️ (fun fact, I also worked as a bridal stylist!) I have experience in working in the clinical setting in hospitals, outpatient, private practice, national telehealth, as well as in fitness, prior to opening my doors about a year ago for my own private practice NuWell Nutrition 🌿

I see patients from diverse backgrounds across the US and enjoy helping countless people attain their goals whether it being attaining a lower A1c and maintaining it, feeling stronger and more conditioned for their activity, or finding sustainable ways for body recomposition without losing muscle mass whether taking or not taking GLP1 and finding out how nourishing with nutrition can be satisfying, tasty, and reduce cravings and fatigue.

My practice has been steadily growing, and what started June 1, 2025 people who live locally are happy to have an in person option to see a dietitian where it is also a one stop shop for personal training and massage at Limitless Fitness, and to also have the option for virtual visits at their convenience. I look forward to continuing to serve the local community and beyond!

In my free time I enjoy being a mom of two 👧🏼👦🏼 being active with our family and dog Beau 🐶 cooking 🍳 painting 🎨 photography 📷 and reading 📖

Warm up from the inside out this season with this cheap and easy nutritious and delicious bowl of hot soup that is perfect for athletes or anyone! 🍜🏃‍♀️

1-2 packages Nissan Raoh tonkotsu ramen
3-6 oz Grilled chicken strips
1/2-1 cup fresh or frozen vegetables like broccoli, spinach, peas, shredded carrot
1-2 eggs
Sriracha to taste
Rice vinegar and/or lime juice to taste
Japanese bbq or hoisin sauce to taste

As many of you know, I’ve always had an interest in nutrition. So much so, I went to school, got a bachelor’s degree, and now I’m on my way to becoming a Registered Dietitian. I’ve also always been interested in traveling and other cultures, lifestyles and art including different cuisines. They say that, “you have to taste a culture to understand it.” I decided it was time to have an outlet for all things nutrition, and travel, including updates on the dietetic internship.
