Managing anxiety and stress in strange days.

Anxiety during this time is normal. It can feel like a weight following you around. The lack of normalcy can lead to a sense of unreality. Your brain is trying to protect you by distancing from the situation. Let yourself feel the feelings. Pay attention to how your body feels. Attunement to the anxiety can help regulate it. Practice deep breathing and mindfulness exercises. Drink lots of water and get some exercise. Anaerobic exercises are especially helpful for anxiety (pushups, lifting weights, anything with resistance). Take care of yourself!
