Biology major, Austin Luna, presented his undergraduate research project on Melanoma this past weekend at the AAAS conference in Boston, MA, February 18, 2017. Austin conducted his research on Melanoma at Green Clinics Laboratory (Dover, DE) last summer under the mentorship of Dr. Fady Gerges.

Financial support of the project was provided by the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) through the DE-INBRE (IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence) program under grant number P20 GM103446. Austin is also an active participant of the Wesley College Cannon Scholars' program, which is funded through the National Science Foundation (NSF) S-STEM DUE award under grant number 1355554.
