The vernal equinox kicks off the first day of spring today! ๐ŸŒž

When the equinox occurs, the planet has leveled out on its axis and there is approximate equality between daytime and nighttime.

With this balance, earth will begin tilting more toward the sun, resulting in increased daylight, warmer temperatures, and the thawing out we have all been waiting for. ๐Ÿ˜Œ

The idea of the earthโ€™s balance is a good example for us.

Are we feeling balanced in life? Or is one area taking over?

Are we feeling hopeful about the change in season and the possibilities of rebirth, or are we feeling isolated and off track?

We all experience setbacks in our lives and journeys toward wellness. ๐ŸŒฟ

That is part of the bigger picture of change, and it's okay!

Often times we learn the greatest lessons from our falls and failures.

The important thing is to always get back up and try again.

Soothing ginger lemon tonic recipe. ๐Ÿ‹

โœจ 8-10 oz spring or filtered water
โœจ 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
โœจ 1 inch ginger root
โœจ 1 tsp raw honey (optional)

Directions: Boil water. Place hot water in mug and cut ginger into 4 - 1/4โ€ pieces of and place in hot water. Squeeze in 1/4 fresh lemon ๐Ÿ‹ into water and add honey if necessary for a bit of sweetness.

Sip and enjoy in a relaxed environment. Take in how you feel as you enjoy your tea. โ˜•๏ธ Relax and repeat daily.

Green is our theme today, as we celebrate St. Patrickโ€™s Day! โ˜˜๏ธ

The original intent of the day was to honor St. Patrick, who is largely credited with bringing Christianity to Ireland in the 400โ€™s AD.

Over time it has grown into a celebration of all things Irish, and many folks are happy to put on their emerald green for the day to recognize the history, traditions, and culture of Ireland. ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช

While some folks like to celebrate with green beer and a pub crawl, there are lots of other food and beverage options to get you in the Irish mood!
