Our residents had an energizing time today with Yoga Ball Drumming—a favorite that always gets hearts pumping and smiles glowing! 🥁✨

And yes... we had to throw in a little Monster Mash to keep the spooky spirit alive! 👻🕺

🍂 Fall is all about togetherness — and our Annual Indoor Apple Picking event brought just that!
Residents spent a cozy afternoon enjoying delicious apple desserts lovingly prepared by our amazing dietary team, picking apples, sharing stories, and making memories. 💬🍎
It was a day filled with laughter, connection, and the joy of being one big happy family. ❤️

Senior Olympics Shout-Out! 🥉🎶

Back in September, our residents proudly participated in the Senior Olympics, and the results are in! We’re thrilled to give a big congratulatory shout-out to two of our amazing teammates, Annettee and Lou, who competed in the Name That Tune event and brought home the Bronze Medal!

Way to go, Annettee & Lou — your talent and team spirit truly shine!
We’re already excited and gearing up for next year’s games!

Tigers are known for their intense focus and their passion. September Compassionate Caregiver is passionate about our residents and staff every day. They throw themselves wholeheartedly into the work they do daily.

That is precisely what not only our bus driver but also Don, who is part of the family, does for the building. He treats all the residents with respect and shows compassion with every interaction he has with them. He is mindful of their safety on and off the bus. Don helps the residents in any way he can, and not just as passengers. He interacts with them like they are lifelong friends and/or family members. He throws himself into his daily work with intensity and purpose. Don doesn't just go above and beyond; he strives to improve the lives of the residents whenever he is with them.

Congratulations, Don, on being September's Compassionate Caregiver of the month.
We are lucky to have you caring for the residents.

🎉 Trivia Showdown Fun! 🧠

A huge thank you to our friends at the local Rotary Club for hosting an exciting hour of trivia for our residents! 🙌

It was Team Petunia vs. The Troublemakers in a friendly battle of wits. After trailing early on, the Petunias made a fantastic comeback and took the win! 🌸🏆

👏 Way to go, Petunias — and hats off to everyone who joined in the fun. You made it a truly memorable event!

Langdon Place of Dover conducted a flu clinic for our residents in assisted living and memory care. David Cabral, a pharmacist at Hannaford Pharmacy who has conducted flu clinics here in the past, did the immunizations with another colleague/pharmacist. We perform a rolling clinic in the halls with our residents, and it moves quickly. Thank you, Hannaford, for taking care of our residents. They will be conducting our upcoming COVID clinic on Tuesday, October 21st.
