New England’s weather is finally on the upswing, and that means it’s time to get outside! 🌤️

Today marked the kickoff of our weekly Walking Group adventures, where residents visit different locations and soak in nature from every angle.
Fort Foster offered the perfect setting—with beautiful views, fresh air, and plenty to enjoy as our residents walked and took in the natural beauty around them. 🌿👟

🧠♠️ Pokeno time! Our residents had a great time playing Pokeno—a fun game that keeps the brain working while sharing plenty of laughs. Games like this help sharpen memory, focus, and social connection, all while having fun together! ♣️😊

We were honored to host the Parkinson’s Foundation at Langdon Place for an evening of learning and meaningful conversation. Thanks to the incredible efforts behind the scenes, this impactful program came to life for our community.

Your dedication to education and support truly made a difference, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to learn more about Parkinson’s and available resources. 💙

Living at Langdon Place of Dover means being surrounded by nature every day. You never know what you might see right outside your window! Last evening, six beautiful deer made a peaceful appearance at dusk, strolling across our front lawn. It’s moments like these that truly highlight the abundant wildlife our residents get to enjoy.

Staying active has never been this much fun! 🎯 Our Memory Care residents brought energy, laughter, and a little friendly competition to a spirited game of cornhole—backward throws included! With plenty of cheers and big smiles, they’re already feeling tournament-ready. Who’s brave enough to take them on? 💪😄

Caregiving isn't always sunshine, but some people have a way of bringing the light. We were looking for that "Pot of Gold"-the caregiver who shows up with a Heart of Gold to make our residents and team feel lucky every day.

This is found in one of our Occupational Therapists, Lee.
"Lee is always so pleasant and on top of everything going on with the residents, always going above and beyond. She is our pot of gold; her kindness, dedication, and the way she always checks in on others don't go unnoticed. She makes this community a better place every day with the heart she puts into what she does and the care she brings to the residents.

Congratulations, Lee, on being March's Compassionate Caregiver.
