💆♀️ Things Your Massage Therapist Wants You to Know
1️⃣ You don’t have to apologize for your body.
We see bodies all day, every day. Your stretch marks, scars, cellulite, and curves are completely normal.
2️⃣ Please drink your water. 💧
Hydrated muscles respond better to massage and recovery.
3️⃣ Communication helps us help you.
If something is too much pressure, not enough, or a spot needs extra work, tell us!
4️⃣ Relax… you don’t have to “help.”
You don’t need to hold your arm up or tense your muscles. Let us do the work.
5️⃣ Deep breathing makes your massage even better.
When you breathe deeply, your muscles relax faster.
6️⃣ It’s okay if you fall asleep.
Honestly… we take it as a compliment 😴
7️⃣ Self-care isn’t selfish.
