Validation is the foundation of healthy communication โ and it starts with your own emotions.
โจ What Validation IS:
Recognizing a feeling makes sense given the situation. (Not agreement.)
๐ง Why It Matters:
Feeling โseenโ calms your nervous system and helps you think clearly.
๐ Self-Validation:
โIt makes sense I feel frustrated โ that was a lot.โ
๐ค Validating Others:
โThat sounds really hard.โ
โI can see why youโd feel that way.โ
๐ซ Avoid:
โYou shouldnโt feel that way.โ
โJust be positive.โ
