🌟 Community Partner Spotlight: Achieving Independence and Mobility Center for Independent Living 🌟
We’re honored to highlight our partner Achieving Independence & Mobility Center for Independent Living (AIM-CIL), based in Downers Grove, serving DuPage, Kane, and Kendall counties. You may recognize their logo from our Caregiver Resource Nights! Their work helps people with disabilities become more independent—in managing daily living, transportation, finances, etc.—so they can participate fully in family, work, and community life. 💙

Here’s what AIM-CIL offers:

Core services like advocacy, independent living skills training, information & referrals, transition support (for youth aging out of services & for people moving out of nursing facilities), and peer counseling.

Other programs including an Assistive Technology Program (subsidizing devices up to $500), an Educational Scholarship Program to support post-secondary or trade school goals, and more.

AIM-CIL’s work breaks down systemic barriers by advocating for accessibility and helping people understand and assert their rights. If you haven’t already, visit aim-cil.org to explore how their services might support you, a friend, or family member.

🤝 Interested in partnering with us to strengthen our community together? Reach out — we love connecting with organizations who share our mission of inclusion and support.
