Building those muscles, one wiggle at a time!

Tummy time is like a tiny workout, and it’s one of the best things you can do for your baby’s development.

Why it matters:

Core Strength: Builds the neck, shoulder, and back muscles needed for rolling, sitting, and eventually crawling.

Motor Skills: Helps develop the hand-eye coordination they’ll use to reach for their favorite toys.

Prevents Flat Spots: Gives the back of the head a much-needed break from car seats and cribs.

Sensory Play: Changes their perspective on the world and encourages exploration.

Pro Tip: Start with just 2–3 minutes a few times a day and work your way up. Even a chest-to-chest snuggle counts as tummy time!

How is your little one handling their “floor gym” sessions today? 🧸✨

Happy Occupational Therapy Month!

This April, we are shining a extra bright spotlight on our incredible Pediatric Occupational Therapists. While some might see “just play,” our OTs see milestones, breakthroughs, and the building blocks of independence.

Why Our Pediatric OTs are Superheroes:

The Magic of Play: They turn “hard work” into games, helping kiddos develop fine motor skills, coordination, and strength without even realizing they’re working.

Sensory Savvy: They help children navigate a world that can sometimes feel too loud, too bright, or too overwhelming, giving them the tools to feel regulated and ready to learn.

Life Skills Champions: From mastering the art of buttoning a shirt to the triumph of using a spoon, our OTs empower kids to tackle daily “occupations” with confidence.

Confidence Builders: Every small win in the clinic is a giant leap for a child’s self-esteem.

“Occupational therapy is where ‘I can’t’ turns into ‘I did!’”

To our OT team: Thank you for your endless patience, your creative problem-solving, and for seeing the unique potential in every child who walks through our doors. You aren’t just teaching skills; you’re changing lives!

Help us celebrate! Drop a ❤️ or a “thank you” in the comments for the OTs who make a difference in your family’s life every day.

To celebrate World Down Syndrome Day, our team rocked their favorite fun and colorful socks!

These socks represent and celebrate the things that make us each unique, while also reminding us of the many ways we are all the same. What a great way to celebrate inclusion and the differences that make us all amazing.

Who says sensory bins are just for the kids? 🌿✨

Our therapy team got their hands dirty with Lee Lee’s Garden! We practiced our fine motor skills and followed some “multi-step directions” to build these beautiful miniature worlds.

We’re feeling refreshed, grounded, and ready to get back to play!

This is why we do what we do. 💙

Hearing how our little ones grow and thrive is the greatest reward our team could ask for. We are so honored to be a part of this family’s journey from five months old and beyond!

Help us reach more families who might need a helping hand—please give this a share! ✨
