We are a bilingual group of multidisciplinary group of professionals. We offer faith based services and trauma focused services as well as CBT, MAP. and Gottman couples counseling. Our pre-marital program is co-facilitated by Azusa Pacific alumni and it helps to set the foundation of what marriage is. I often hear from my clients say, “ if he cheats one more time I’m leaving. Or “If we don’t get engaged by the end of the year I’m breaking up with him.” And then there is no follow through when these expectations aren’t met. So what’s the difference between boundaries/ expectations/ ultimatums? 👂🎧I will explain it here. But I tell my clients you need to be ready to go through with the consequences when you set an expectations. Many couples end up in divorce when they are given an ultimatum. 🛋👩🏻‍🏫 🍃🛋️
