Downey Urgent Care Center Celebrating our 22nd anniversary, we are offering Initial Medical Evaluation for only $100 for cash patients!

We accept Medi-Care, Medi-Cal, and all major insurances PPO and HMO patients of the following:

AME Medical Group is structured to provide urgent care and managed care services to community. Our physicians devote their time to evaluate patients. AME's management and office staff allows physicians to focus exclusively on performing evaluations and articulate their opinions, while eliminating the burden of administrative responsibilities. We give same day appointment to all our patients and the wait time is 15 minutes or less. We accept all major PPO and HMO health insurances. For your convenience, we are open until 9pm weekdays & on Saturday from 10am to 3pm. We as an urgent care center, can provide many of the same basic medical services as your doctor's office, with extended hours for delivering services & lower out-of-pocket costs (Pay your usual co-pay). We are staffed with licensed physicians, urgent care centers are ideal for non-emergency care when your doctor is not available. We offer you quality care at lower out-of-pocket costs for non-emergency conditions and the wait is typically less than an hour while the average wait time at a California ER is about 4 hours and 34 minutes. Our goal is to do the best possible evaluation and treatment in a timely manner based on thorough physical examinations, pre-authorized diagnostic testing, and the detail history with review of the patient's medical records.

Welcome to AME Medical Group in Downey! This location was founded on May 01, 1997 and we’ve been serving the Downey community since then. Over the past 21 years, we have grown to span Los Angeles county with 6 clinics to serve the gracious communities of Long Beach, Whittier, Lynwood, and Montebello!
