Before I became a monk, and before I actually knew any, I thought monks lead simple, serene lives away from the world. Now, I’m a ta***ic yoga monk, and that’s different! It’s about being in the world, fully engaged: teaching and cooking and voting and going to fall festivals. It’s about doing my best to be and see the divinity that is everything that exists.
