We work on where you are and help you create small sustainable changes that last! Convenient locations based in Kennett Square and Downingtown from Chadds Ford, Glen Mills, Delaware, southern Chester County, West Chester, Exton, Malvern and mainline area. What We Do
Our practice provides one-to-one nutrition counseling, weight management programs, sports nutrition, counseling for disordered and emotional eating including a school-based Intensive outpatient eating disorder program, sports nutrition, thyroid health, GI gut health support, cardiovascular disease, and consultant services for employer based weight management and wellness programs, and family-based nutrition services. Most insurances accepted. Keystone and Personal Choice holders have no co-pay and six free visits a year. Medicare, United, Cigna, Highmark, Independence Administrators, Anthem and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Sliding scale fees available based on eligibility. Non-profit packages available for employer based and community outreach programs. We believe health is right and health services should be affordable!

We can do better. Join Nurse Heather, a local mom and nurse in our community, this Tuesday at 4:30 PM to support the Nurse-Family Partnership. This program reduces preterm births and child neglect right here in Chester County, but it needs our advocacy to stay funded and make in impact.

Stay warm, Downingtown! Since it's looking like a windy, cold March evening in the Northeast, there is nothing better than a meal that cooks itself while you hunker down.

Slow Cooker Chicken Fajita Soup:

🥣 Why You'll Love It
This recipe is the definition of "set it and forget it." With only 20 minutes of prep, you can let your slow cooker do the heavy lifting for 6 hours while you stay warm inside. It’s a healthy, protein-packed bowl of comfort that clocks in at 313 calories and 37g of protein per serving.

👩‍🍳 Simple Method
Dump & Go: Put all ingredients into your slow cooker.

Cook: Set it on High for 3-4 hours or Low for 6 hours.

Shred: Once the chicken is tender enough to fall apart, turn the setting to warm.

Top it Off: Serve in big bowls topped with healthy plant fat avocado, extra jalapeño, cilantro, and crunchy whole grain tortilla chips.

Stop counting your collagen as your main protein source! 🛑

👀We see so many of you logging those collagen peptides toward your daily protein goal. Seeing that 20 gram amount on the label isn't the whole story. While we love the enthusiasm for hitting your macros, we need to talk about protein quality.

💪Collagen is an "incomplete" protein. It lacks leucine and other essential amino acids required to trigger Muscle Protein Synthesis (MPS). Think of this as "maintenance" for your joints, tendons, and skin. Great for injury prevention and hair health, but it cannot repair your muscles after a heavy lifting session.Connective tissue, joint health, skin, hair, and nails.
