Models are predicting a large snow system heading our way this weekend. Be prepared, keep an eye out for announcements from your child’s transportation, home district, or directly from CARES.

👀❄️🧊 Weekend Winter Storm...

1. What we know now: A winter storm will impact the region bringing widespread snow as early as Saturday night through as late as Monday morning, with potential for wintry mix along and south of I-95. Very cold conditions following the storm.

2. What we don't know yet: Exact snow/ice totals, location of highest snow totals, and exact timing of precipitation.

3. What you should do now: Prepare for snow over the weekend and prolonged cold next week. Travel impacts are likely; consider adjusting weekend plans accordingly.

**We will not have a full snowfall and ice forecasts covering the entire storm until Friday. Stay tuned for updates as the weekend forecast confidence increases!
