Last week Downs Care and Rehab honored Mark Jackson during Maintenance week. Mark is our behind the scenes and “Put it in Tels” man who keeps everything running smoothly.
Coinciding with it was also Social Service Directors Week. Our SSD Deb Becker, is the advocate for our residents and their families, making sure their voices are heard and needs are met.
We honored them all week for the differences they make within our community.

Please join us in welcoming Debra Becker, our Social Service
Designee, here at Downs Care and Rehab!
Debra joined our team in 2024 and quickly became an important part of our community, working as both a CMA and CNA. In 2025, she transitioned into the office to serve as our Social Service Designee, where she continues to support our residents and families with compassion and dedication.
Debra is a long-time member of the Downs community and truly cares about the people she serves. She is married to her husband, Alvin, and together they have two daughters, Lydia (Blake) Housh and Chelsi (Jared) Remus, one son, the late Landon Becker and 4 grandchildren.
We are grateful to have Debra as part of the Downs Care and Rehab team and look forward to the positive impact she will continue to have on our facility, residents and staff.
