✨ A Call to Support a Community Pillar ✨

For over 20 years, Ahva Lenay has been a radiant anchor in our Denver–Boulder community—holding space through movement, ceremony, sacred song, and unwavering love. Many of us have danced, healed, and awakened within the spaces she so graciously tends.

Now, after decades of offering her medicine, it’s Ahva’s time to receive.

A recent, serious injury left her with a double clavicle fracture, and while she’s miraculously avoided surgery, the journey of healing is long, painful, and unfolding without insurance. In true Ahva fashion, she’s meeting it all with grace, humility, and openness—but she cannot walk this path alone.

The outpouring of love has already been incredible, and for those who feel moved, her GoFundMe is still live to help cover medical care, basic needs, and the support she needs to rest and recover fully.

Celebrating 7 Years on Facebook — and 9 Years of Ecstatic Movement Tribe!

As I mark 7 years of this page and nearly 9 years of nurturing this beautiful, ecstatic dance community, my heart is overflowing with gratitude. What began as a dream has blossomed into one of the most meaningful parts of my life — a conscious, ever-evolving tribe where movement meets magic.

Thank you to every dancer, healer, space holder, DJ, teacher, vendor, bodyworker, intuitive, and artist who has shared their gifts. Whether offering tarot, tinctures, sound baths, or sacred presence, you’ve helped make this a sanctuary of connection.

Even during the challenges of COVID, we never stopped dancing — we adapted, showed up online, and kept the beat alive.

I'm deeply honored to continue cultivating this space with all of you. Here’s to the moments we’ve shared and the ones still unfolding. Thank you for being part of the journey.

Contact Improv w/ Larry - 7:00-8:00pm

The emphasis in Contact Improvisation is on listening to the body and responding to physical sensations, rather than following predetermined steps or choreography. This allows for a great deal of creativity and spontaneity in the dance, as the dancers respond to each other and the space around them in real time.

Larry brings a big love for movement and improvisation of all kinds to his approach to teaching Contact Improv. He blends the creative and spontaneous elements of improvisation with a focused approach to the physical technique that helps create safe and expressive dances.

Join Tammy Beattie for an immersive Contact Improv experience where we’ll explore the dynamic relationship between bodies and gravity through weight-sharing. Through movement, we will deepen our connection to the earth, each other, and ourselves, using gravity as a guide to co-create fluid and spontaneous dances.
