I am a certified health and nutrition coach and personal trainer who helps women in mid life find balance and helps them lose unwanted weight with delicious plant focused food It counts on people starting a program, having some level of success, then stopping the program and gaining weight back. The issue is that almost ALL diet plans require you to make big changes to your everyday life and eating habits. And often these are changes that make you feel BAD. Hungry, tired, craving carbs, constipated, bad breath... you know! There IS a better way and a way that you can change your habits for good while still enjoying your life.

Delicious and filling!
350 calories - 22 grams protein - 10 grams fat and 10 grams fiber.
Yes, calories matter for fat loss - they actually matter MOST. If you aren't tracking- how do you know what you are eating? Also, aim for 25 grams of fiber a day minimum. 💙

I think the word for the month should be consistency. Figure out what your goal is, decide on a plan and just stick with it! Re evaluate every few weeks and then continue. 🥰

Delicious massaged kale salad 😍
Why do you have to massage your kale?? Well, it makes it easier, tastier, and softer. Usually, this is done by adding oil and salt and massaging for a couple of minutes.
I don't use oils, SO I put in avocado, coarse salt, lemon juice, and nutritional yeast. Freaking delicious!! 😋
It's perfect just like this- but I like to add some bell pepper and dried cranberries. Sometimes, I'll add some fresh blueberries or peaches. Anything goes! Enjoy!

Steamed potatoes - steamed kale- seasoned mushrooms - and ground tofu. All topped with my vegan cheez sauce! Delicious and only 250 calories! 💛
🤯 Eating whole foods is the easiest way to lose fat without losing your mind!!

Hibiscus tea may be as effective as blood pressure-lowering drugs, but doesn’t have their bad side effects. Tested head-to-head against captopril, a leading blood-pressure drug, drinking two cups of strong hibiscus tea every morning (a total of five tea bags in the two cups) was as effective in lowering blood pressure as taking a starting dose of 25 mg of captopril twice a day. Be sure to talk with your doctor about your blood pressure-lowering options.
Hibiscus really shines when it comes to lowering high blood pressure. It appears to boost nitric oxide production, which may help our arteries relax and dilate better. A review recognized that the daily consumption of hibiscus tea may indeed significantly lower blood pressures in people with hypertension.
After drinking hibiscus tea, be sure to rinse your mouth with water to keep the tea’s natural acids from softening your tooth enamel. Given the extraordinary manganese content in hibiscus tea, I don’t recommend drinking more than a quart a day.
