The sinuses have a direct impact on the health of the neuroendocrine system. Repetitive mycotoxin exposure, or colonization in the sinuses can create dysfunction in the pituitary gland, leading to HPA axis problems, such as hormone dysregulations, mental health conditions, and a constant state of fight or flight for the nervous system. One great therapy for clearing out myocotoxin accumulation in the sinuses is through nasal irrigation.
