Save this high protein Margherita pizza π€€π
Recipe π
1/2 cup all purpose flour or ( for pizza flour shop my Link below π ποΈ)
1/2 cup nonfat plain greek yogurt
1 (8 oz.) container mozzarella slices
1/2 cup crushed San Marzano tomatoes
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 bunch of fresh basil
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon oregano
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 425Β°F.
2. In a large mixing bowl combine flour, greek yogurt, baking powder, and mix to combine until a dough is formed.
3. Sprinkle flour to a large cutting board, add your dough, sprinkle flour to the top of your dough, and carefully roll out until it becomes a circular shape.
4. Add dough to a baking sheet with flour.
5. To a mixing bowl add crushed tomatoes, garlic, and listed seasonings and mix well.
6. Spread pizza sauce evenly on pizza dough, add mozzarella cheese, and bake for 15-20 minutes until dough is cooked.
7. Top pizza with fresh basil.
8. Cut pizza into 6 slices.
