🕯️💀 A Ghoulmet Affair to Remember 💀🕯️

Happy Halloween, our residents were summoned from beyond for one night only… to indulge in a feast where cursed cuisine met haunted elegance. Dressed in their darkest finery, they dined like true ghouls at our spine-tingling gourmet dinner.

The 4-course menu was frightfully delicious:

🦐 Headless Shrimp Cake
🥗 Hearty Fall Bloody Greens
🥩 Devil’s Filet Mignon
🎃 Severed Finger Pumpkin Cheesecake

From eerie ambiance to devilishly good dishes, the evening was a haunting success. Huge shoutout to our culinary team for conjuring up a meal to die for, and to Life Enrichment for crafting an atmosphere that was both chilling and enchanting.

This week residents enjoyed an outing to the Minnesota Zoo’s Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular! We strolled through a glowing trail of thousands of intricately carved pumpkins. 🎃 What a magical night it was!

🧘🏻🐶🐾 Emotional Wellness Day for Active Aging Week was paws-itively perfect!

Today we embraced joy, connection, and healing during our puppy yoga sessions that were hosted by our fitness instructor, Kt, and Coco’s Heart Dog Rescue. With wagging tails, gentle stretches, and lots of laughter, our residents found happiness, calmness, and a few puppy kisses along the way!

We are so thankful for this unforgettable experience!

🎨✨ Today we celebrated Vocational Wellness during Active Aging Week with a joyful and inspiring Art Crawl!

Lexington Landing was transformed into a gallery of creativity, featuring stunning artwork from both residents and staff. From paintings and photography to sculpture and weaving, every piece reflected the passion, talent, and purpose that continue to thrive in our community.

It was a beautiful reminder that self-expression and meaningful engagement never retire. Thank you to all who shared their gifts with us! 🙏🏼

Round one: a stack of pancakes.
Round two: a pile of spicy chicken wings.

Congratulations to our fabulous fitness instructor, Kt, on being named our August employee of the month! Kt leads a wide variety of fitness classes here at Lexington Landing and offers personal training that is tailored to residents’ individual goals. Whether it’s balance class, dance mix class, yoga or her popular guided meditation, Kt does it all. Her diverse experience is highly regarded, and she is our residents’ biggest cheerleader on their wellness journeys! Kt is equally as loved by her coworkers and is a true team player.

We made it to the Minnesota State Fair and it was everything we hoped for and more! From deep-fried foods to baked beans hats, our state fair crew soaked up every ounce of the fair magic!

It’s official, our sky bridge is OPEN! 🎉

Today we celebrated this exciting milestone with a ribbon cutting ceremony and a wonderful gathering of residents, staff, and friends. We are so grateful to everyone who made this dream a reality!

After the ceremony, we kept the celebration going with cupcakes, refreshments, and plenty of smiles.
