’Tis the season for germs EVERYWHERE! We have been seeing a lot of Flu, RSV, walking pneumonia, croup, stomach bugs, strep throat and colds/coughs. Many kids are getting back to back illnesses. Although it is hard when kids are getting sick this time of year, it can be normal. Viruses usually last a good 2 weeks and coughs can last weeks after that!

Try to ensure your kiddos are washing their hands, eating the rainbow/not too much sugar and getting plenty of sleep this holiday season (hard to do!)

Results from a randomized clinical trial showed that dilute apple juice (1/2 apple juice and 1/2 water) is just as effective for preventing dehydration! So don't stress and offer your little one sips of this instead :)
