Today we welcome the New Moon, a Solar Eclipse, and the beginning of the Chinese New Year — Year of the Fire Horse. This is amplified, catalytic energy. Not subtle. Not quiet. Transformational.
A New Moon already represents initiation and rebirth.
A Solar Eclipse accelerates destiny, revealing what’s been hidden and redirecting our path.
The Fire Horse brings bold movement, passion, independence, and rapid change.
This is not a day to force outcomes. It’s a day to align.
If you’re feeling:
• Emotional waves
• Restlessness or urgency
• Sudden clarity
• Fatigue or overstimulation
That’s normal under eclipse fire energy.
Instead of reacting, ground.
Grounding + Release Ritual Tips:
Touch the Earth – Bare feet outside, even 5 minutes. Regulate your nervous system.
Slow the Breath – Inhale 4, hold 4, exhale 6. Fire energy needs conscious calming.
Write + Burn – Journal what you’re ready to release. Safely burn or tear it as symbolic closure.
Salt + Water – Bath or shower with intention. Visualize stagnant energy clearing.
Limit Noise – Less scrolling, less stimulation. Eclipses distort perception; give yourself space.
Set ONE Clear Intention – Not ten. Fire Horse favors decisive, focused action.

I’m excited to share that I’m currently in Reiki Level 2 training today, deepening my practice so I can continue to support my clients on an even more profound level.

This next phase of training expands my ability to offer remote Reiki healing, which is especially meaningful as I work with a lot of clients who are not physically close. Distance healing allows me to meet you where you are—emotionally, energetically, and geographically—while still providing powerful, intentional support.

At Illuminate Holistic Healing, my work is centered on helping women especially moms slow down, reconnect with themselves, and heal holistically. So many women and mothers carry the weight of everyone else’s needs, often placing their own well-being last. Reiki is a gentle yet impactful way to support nervous system regulation, emotional release, and intentional self-care.

I’m grateful to continue expanding my skills so I can better serve the women and families who trust me with their healing journey. More to come as I step fully into this next level of practice.
