Creator & Facilitator — Re-Treat Yourself • One-Day Immersion
Deja Cross welcomes you to Re-Treat Yourself, a heart-centered one-day immersion. This December gathering is dedicated to releasing what has been held, resetting internal systems, and renewing your inner light, and setting intentions for the new year.
Deja will guide two signature sessions—Ancient Teachings & Seasonal Rituals and Sunset Meditation—weaving timeless wisdom, sankalpa (sacred intention), and the gentle medicine of winter rituals into a day of deep restoration and joyful community.
Founder & Retreat Director — Into the Mystic Journeys
Deja designs transformative retreats in the sacred caves and temples of India and the rice-field temples and healing waters of Bali. Each journey is curated, weaving beauty, comfort, and cultural richness into experiences that deepen connection—with self, with community, and with the sacred. Participants return renewed in body, mind, and spirit, carrying insights that continue to unfold long after the journey ends.
Vice President — Florida Yoga Teachers Association (FYTA)
Deja supports yoga teachers and their events, working to elevate the quality of yoga shared throughout Florida. Her offerings—rooted in Yoga Wisdom, Conscious Living, and Seasonal Rituals—help build heart-centered practices and lasting connections within the vibrant Tampa Bay / St. Petersburg community.
Lineage & Roots
A yoga practitioner since 1993 and E-RYT 500, Deja trained in the Viniyoga lineage and the teachings of Kashmir Shaivism. She lived for many years on the banks of the holy Ganga in Rishikesh, immersed in sādhana—āsana, prāṇāyāma, meditation, sound and silence, and pilgrimage—as a disciple of Shri Mahant Mukesh Giri Ji Maharaj in Jhilmil Gufa, the legendary cave of Gorakh Nath’s tapasya. This depth infuses her life and every circle with reverence and living presence.
While in India, Deja founded the Rishikesh International Film Festival (celebrating spiritual, holistic living, and social- and eco-conscious films and events), Shakti Rising International (women-honoring ceremonies in India and the US), and Ganga Blessings (grassroots seva supporting women, children, education, and ecology).
With an MBA, a BS in Mathematics, and three decades of entrepreneurial experience blending community, hospitality, creativity, and spirituality, Deja creates spaces that feel both deeply safe and vibrantly alive.
