The residents of Mercer Hill were absolutely over the moon with the performance by the Red Barn Brass Quintet! Comprised of talented professional musicians from across Bucks County, the Quintet delivered an outstanding program. The performance was thoughtfully divided into three engaging sections: American roots and ideals, the rise of American popular music, and patriotism and service. Each segment beautifully highlighted the rich history and spirit of American music, leaving residents inspired and entertained. Mercer Hill looks forward to welcoming the Quintet back soon!

We had a wonderful time at our Taste of Culture signature series event showcasing India! Our team created a vibrant cultural experience where residents had the opportunity to learn about India, try authentic foods, and enjoy a truly immersive celebration. The residents were excited, engaged, and delighted to experience something new while learning about another culture!

Congratulations to our associate, Matthew, on receiving a Gold Coin! Matthew stands out as being engaging and bringing out something special in our residents. Most recently, he was seen doing basketball exercises with a resident in our Reflections Memory Care Neighborhood whose family had shared with him that she played basketball in college. We pride ourselves on having associates who truly value our residents and everything there is to know about them.

Our sister community, Otter Creek in Middlebury, VT, had a packed house for an Intergenerational Reading Event in collaboration with the Vermont Literacy Network. Former Mister Rogers' Neighborhood star, Francois Clemmons, led story time and songs to teach kids about the importance of belonging and community. February's signature series live dance presentation with James and Aubrey Donaldson was a hit! Residents thoroughly enjoyed learning, fun, new dance steps, and even those who don't normally dance got their groove on. With all these "new moves", we all agreed it's time to hit the town to show them off.
