It was a Tex Mex good time at Mercer Hill's First Annual Chili Cook-Off!! Our residents enjoyed three types of chili, chicken and white bean, traditional beef, and the big winner: Tex-Mex chili! A huge thank you to Michele, one of our fabulous Chefs here at Mercer Hill for all of her amazing chilis!

Our Mercer Hill residents absolutely love making applesauce in the fall! There's something magical about the aroma of fresh apples and cinnamon filling the kitchen – It brings back sweet memories and sparks smiles all around. It's wonderful watching the apples transform into a warm comforting sauce that can be enjoyed with oatmeal pancakes, or just buy the spoonful. Fall is the perfect season to gather together, share stories, and create delicious treats. Applesauce making isn't just about cooking, it's about community memories and a little bit of autumn magic!

Our Mercer Hill nurses, in conjunction with Springfield Pharmacy, recently hosted a flu and COVID-19 vaccination clinic here in our community. We're proud to share that more than 75 residents received their vaccinations! A big thank you to Springfield Pharmacy for their partnership, as well as to our residents and associates for helping to keep our community healthy and protected!
