Snow day ahead! ❄️⛄️We will be closed Monday and extending our hours Wednesday 1/28 until 7 pm to better serve you and help keep you feeling your best after all of the shoveling and sledding.
We have some quick tips for you.💡Before you sled or shovel, do a warm up! Cold muscles = higher injury risk. Do arm circles, hip circles, gentle squats, jumping jacks for a couple minutes. Remember to LIFT WITH YOUR LEGS, NOT YOUR BACK! Bend at the knees, keep the shovel close to your body, avoid twisting - step and turn instead. For sledding, keep upright (don’t hunch), keep core engaged, try to avoid icy uneven hills. When you’re finished, do some gentle stretching and hydrate- muscles love water! If you’re feeling stiff or sore, a chiropractic adjustment can help restore motion, ease tension, and keep strains from turning into bigger problems. Stay safe and have fun!!
