Also known as Corey Happel, Yoga Bro's spiritual awakening began, in earnest, in Feb of 2019 when he returned from Baja Mexico following a month long Yoga Teacher Training at Yandara Yoga Institute. The intensity of the immersion style training resulted in a change in his foundational perceptions of life and the birth of Yoga Bro, who he identifies with as his Higher Self. Since then Yoga Bro has

provided low cost, private yoga training for individuals in the Bucks County area who want to explore and benefit from the ancient technology that we now call yoga, all in the privacy of their home (vs. He finds that, by giving his entire attention to an individual, he able to tailor every session to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the client. He is Reiki Master at The Salt Cave in Doylestown and Newtown, PA and also offers lower cost Reiki and Access Bars Sessions in his home studio. In order to enhance and amplify the healing of his clients, Yoga Bro maintains the mentality of the eternal student of the healing arts. He is now credentialed in the ancient yogic healing technologies of Sound Bath, Yoga Nidra and Kundalini Yoga. Certifications:

Did you know your body has a built-in way to shift out of stress mode?

The vagus nerve plays a big role in how your body responds to tension, rest, and recovery. It connects your brain to major organs and can influence things like heart rate, digestion, and how “safe” your body feels.

Practices like sound healing, breathwork, and gentle movement may help support vagal tone, which is a fancy way of saying how well your body moves between stress and relaxation.

That’s part of why things like singing bowls, humming, or even slow, intentional breathing can feel so grounding. They’re thought to stimulate the vagus nerve and invite the body into a more regulated state.

Did you know your body has a language of its own. That tension in your shoulders? Maybe it's the weight of things you’ve been carrying for too long. The tight jaw? Could be the words you’ve held back. That deep tiredness that lingers even after a full night’s sleep? Sometimes, that’s not physical, it’s energetic.

Our bodies are smart. They hold onto experiences, emotions, and even stories we didn’t fully process. They speak in aches, tightness, restlessness, or just that quiet feeling that something's off. This is your body’s way of getting your attention...not to frustrate you, but to ask for care. Sometimes what we need isn’t to push through, but to pause… to stretch, to rest, to breathe, to release. Whether that looks like movement, stillness, sound, or energy work, it’s about finding a way back into balance.

Whatever you’re holding, your body doesn’t want to fight you. It wants to work with you. And it’s probably been trying to tell you that for a while. We’re not always taught to tune in. Most of us are really good at powering through until the body steps in and says, enough. We hold space for that conversation between you and your body to actually happen. Through practices like Thai Yoga, fascia release, Reiki, sound healing, and personalized yoga, we gently help the body let go of what it no longer needs physically, emotionally, and energetically. Everything we offer works from a different angle. Sound healing uses frequency to help the body settle. Reiki focuses on energetic balance. Access Bars is all about clearing mental clutter and creating more ease. Thai Yoga combines assisted stretching and pressure work to open the body. Kundalini taps into breath, movement, and repetition to shift energy and awareness.

You don’t have to understand all of it to benefit from it. Most people start with one service, then naturally explore others as they notice what their body responds to.

Corey’s sessions are often the entry point because they’re simple. You lie down, listen, and let your system reset. From there, the door opens to everything else we offer.

Most people think a sound bath is just relaxing. It goes a lot deeper than that. Sound healing works by shifting your brainwave state. The tones from instruments like crystal bowls, gongs, and chimes help guide your mind out of high-alert beta (stress mode) and into slower alpha and theta states, where the body can actually repair, process, and reset. That’s why people often leave feeling clearer, lighter, and surprisingly grounded.

There’s also something called “entrainment” happening. Your body naturally syncs to consistent frequencies, which can help regulate your nervous system, slow your heart rate, and even deepen your breath without you trying. No effort. No experience needed. You just show up, get comfortable, and let the sound do the work.

Not all healing sound is music, and not all music is created to heal. Let’s break down a question that comes up often in our sessions: What’s the difference between sound healing and music therapy? While they both use sound as a tool, their approach, purpose, and training are very different.

🎼 Music Therapy is a clinical and evidence-based practice facilitated by trained therapists who use familiar musical elements—like songwriting, lyric analysis, or playing instruments—to help clients work through cognitive, emotional, or physical challenges. Think of it as talk therapy with melody as the medium.

🔔 Sound Healing (what we do) taps into the body’s natural frequency-based responses. Instruments like crystal bowls, gongs, tuning forks, drums, and rattles are selected for their ability to generate specific vibrations that interact with your nervous system and energetic field. The goal isn’t performance, but rather resonance.

These sounds:
~ Stimulate the vagus nerve and parasympathetic system
~ Promote alpha, theta, and delta brainwave states
~ Release tension stored in the fascia and subconscious
~ Help you drop into deep restorative stillness and reset

Where music therapy engages the conscious mind and emotions, sound healing invites you to surrender into the space between thought—to let go of mental control and allow the body to recalibrate.
