For more than 40 years, Aldie Counseling Center has been dedicated to providing effective treatment to those whose lives have been affected by experimentation with, misuse of, or addiction to alcohol and other drugs. Located in beautiful Bucks County, Pennsylvania, we offer a full range of outpatient programs, medication-assisted therapy, and supportive transitional housing for men and women in early recovery. At Aldie, we’ve been providing compassionate, individualized treatment and support for those affected by substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges for over 45 years. Our services include outpatient and intensive outpatient programs, medication-assisted treatment, individual and group therapy, family support, case management/peer support and recovery resources designed to meet you where you are.

💙 Community Support Alert: Helping Our Neighbors Affected by the SNAP Benefit Pause

According to Doylestown Area FISH, over 40,000 people — or 6.3% of Bucks County residents — rely on SNAP benefits to put food on the table.

If you or someone you know is affected by the SNAP benefit pause due to the government shutdown, help is available.

Doylestown Area FISH has allocated $10,000 to purchase grocery gift cards for Bucks County residents in need.

🗓️ Starting Monday, November 3:
Residents can visit The HUB (located in the County Administrative Building) or set up an appointment with the HELP Center by calling 215-949-1660 to receive grocery gift cards.

Together, we can make sure no one in our community goes hungry. 💛

We’re thrilled to announce a powerful new partnership between Aldie Counseling Center & Maura Farrell, LCSW, CAADC — working together to bring the healing power of horses to individuals on their journey of recovery from drug and alcohol, mental health and/or trauma & grief.

Through Equine-Assisted Therapy, participants build trust, confidence, & emotional awareness in a safe, supportive environment. Horses have a unique ability to mirror human emotion, helping individuals reconnect with themselves & others in meaningful ways. 🙌

Together, we’re creating opportunities for growth, reflection, & lasting change — one step (and one hoofprint) at a time.
