Galena Autism and Behavioral Services (GABS) is committed to providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment to enrich the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental needs towards a future full of hope. Nestled a mile away from Peace Valley Park, we are proud of our effort to promote the tranquility that draws so many to Lake Galena. With our acronym GABS, we want to convey our vision of language and skill acquisition by having your children gab up a storm as we tap into the unique potential of their developing minds. At GABS, we build our services upon research and proven results, not someone’s best guess. We believe that Applied Behavior Analysis provides the best course of treatment for children with autism or other behavioral, developmental, and learning needs. Join us for Summer Social Skills Camp! We now have open enrollment for the Summer Sessions. Our Social Skills Camp is an ABA-based camp headed by Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Skills will be taught each session through fun activities, discussions, crafts, modeling, and role-playing. Skills focused on throughout these sessions are; understanding emotions, crafts, building empathy, problem solving skills, friendship / conversation skills, and expected and unexpected behaviors.
