๐ŸŒŸ Celebrating Growth, Leadership, and Impact ๐ŸŒŸ

At Lenape Valley Foundation, we believe that team development is a cornerstone of our progress. One shining example is Erin McGrody, who began her journey with us 8 years ago as a Crisis Phone Operator. Today, she leads our Mobile Crisis Team with compassion and strength.

Erinโ€™s path is a testament to what dedication, resilience, and a commitment to service can achieve. Her outstanding leadership and unwavering support for our community earned her the 2024 Staff Recognition Award โ€” a well-deserved honor that reflects the lives sheโ€™s touched and the difference she continues to make every day.

Weโ€™re proud to have Erin on our team and even prouder to celebrate her success. ๐Ÿ’™

When Bucks County residents call 988 for mental health or substance use assistance, the voice on the other end of the line now will belong to trained professionals from Lenape Valley Foundation. ๐Ÿ“ฑ 9๏ธโƒฃ 8๏ธโƒฃ 8๏ธโƒฃ

This month, Lenape Valley Foundation began operating the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline in Bucks County. We have hired eight crisis hotline specialists to staff the call center, which is based out of the crisis residential center, The Lodge, in Bristol.

โ€œIn the same way that 911 connects callers to physical health emergency services, 988 simplifies access to behavioral health emergency services,โ€ said Dave Herold, chief executive officer of Lenape Valley Foundation. โ€œThis move will ensure that our neighbors in crisis can quickly reach trained professionals who provide inclusive, culturally responsive care and can connect them to the appropriate local support.โ€

๐ŸŽ‰ Big news for behavioral health care in Bucks County!

Local leaders and mental health professionals gathered last week in Doylestown for a topping off ceremony at the Bright Path Center, celebrating the placement of the final roof truss on this transformative crisis stabilization facility.

This first-of-its-kind center in PA will provide 24/7, trauma-informed, person-centered care for individuals and families facing urgent mental health, substance use, or developmental challenges.

โ€œThis is more than just steel and lumber โ€” itโ€™s a vision coming to life,โ€ said Lenape Valley Foundation CEO Dave Herold.
