The Bucks County Su***de Prevention Task Force is incredibly proud to have a hand in the upcoming "Homecoming 250 Military & Veteran Su***de Prevention Walk" on October 12th in Philadelphia.

During the 250th Homecoming celebration, we will be marching from Penn's Landing to Independence Mall, to support those who are fighting a battle we may never see — join us in raising awareness and preventing su***de among our military and veteran community. Arrive at 9:00AM at Penn's Landing and walk with us!

The walk leads to the ‘All Veterans Reunion Picnic’, with support resources available at Independence Mall.

Join Bucks County Su***de Prevention Task Force, Bucks County Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Programs and Lenape Valley Foundation next Thursday, July 24 for the first of two trainings about Mental Health First Aid.

Mental Health First Aid for Adults is a free, in-person training from 9 am – 3:30 pm, and teaches people how to recognize signs of mental health or substance use challenges in adults ages 18 and older. The course also teaches a 5-step action plan for how to offer and provide initial help and how to guide a person toward appropriate care if necessary.
