With symptoms that can mimic the onset of Dementia, Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH) is commonly mistaken for it. A key difference between NPH and Dementia is that the underlying cause(s) of Dementia are not considered reversible at this time. In contrast, NPH, if diagnosed and treated early, individuals may experience significant improvement.
