Congratulations to Montgomery County, PAfor breaking ground (or smashing walls!) on the new Emergency Behavioral Health Crisis Center in King of Prussia.

This center will provide 24/7 walk-in support, crisis stabilization, and connections to treatment. We’re excited to watch this project unfold!

We're proud to be a member of Bucks-Mont Collaborative and grateful for their work and advocacy - so many incredible Bucks and Montgomery County nonprofits are being impacted, and each week that passes without a resolution to the budget impasse weakens our ability to provide critically needed housing, behavioral health care, food assistance, and countless other supports to our most vulnerable neighbors. Make sure your legislators hear your voice by joining the call for an end to the budget impasse and for legislators to pass the state budget.

Pennsylvania’s nonprofit safety net is nearing a breaking point.

CAN’s new survey reveals the toll of the ongoing state budget impasse:

- Nearly 80% of organizations are already affected—delaying payments, cutting staff, and reducing services.
- Another 11% will face cuts within two months if funds remain frozen.
- 9 in 10 report severe burnout and moral distress among staff.

Each day without a budget compounds the harm for our communities and the people nonprofits serve. We’re calling on state leaders to end the impasse now.

The Bucks County Medication Take Back Day is Saturday, October 25th, 10am-2pm at many sites throughout the County. Teams will be on hand to accept the following:

• Va**ng devices, cartridges, pods, and e-liquids (please remove batteries)
• Prescription and over the counter medications and vitamins
• Liquid medications, creams, ointments, inhalers, nasal sprays
• Sharps accepted at limited sites
