Step inside Anila Quayyum Agha: Interwoven at Michener Art Museum and let your practice be transformed by the magic of light, shadow, and meaning.

SEATED MINDFULNESS: Through mindful movement and breathwork—whether by forming yoga shapes or walking meditatively through the gallery—participants will experience a dynamic fusion of body, breath, and art. Vibha Mistry will be offering Chi Kri style yoga in her three upcoming classes. Chi Kri Yoga is a unique and spiritually rich style of yoga founded by Neil Patel (London, UK), who is a devoted disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda. Yoga in Neil’s family dates back to 1876 with Neil’s great grandfather, who lived in the Indian jungles as a yogi.

Chi Kri Yoga means to use your highest energy to perform all actions with the purpose of uniting your soul with Spirit. Vibha graduated in this style of yoga in 2024 and shares that Chi Kri Yoga is a wonderful blend of traditional yogic wisdom with modern influences and ideas.

Discover the amazing benefits of and somatic meditation in this 5-day in-person only immersion for both teachers and experienced students of yoga. Whether you’re interested in teaching or not, this weeklong course will deepen your yoga practice and change your life. You’ll learn 25 yin yoga postures and 5 somatic meditation techniques - all of which are incredible for pain relief and reducing tension. Not only will you be guided through the practice of these techniques, you’ll also participate in a vibrant discourse between teacher and student so you understand the why and the how behind what you’re learning.

Pranayama, or breath control, is a foundational aspect of the yoga practice that has the potential to profoundly impact both the body and mind. In this satsang, we will study classical techniques, including Ujjayi, Nadi Shodhana, and Kapalabhati, as well as the five types of prana (vital energies). Join Dragonfly owners Joe and Alexis and learn how to harness the breath to calm the mind, energize the body, and restore balance.
