There once was a time that medical doctors were not allowed to associate with chiropractors much less recommend them to patients. The AMA's efforts to enact its boycott of chiropractic was exposed by the Wilk vs. the AMA Antitrust Lawsuit in the 1970's . Although some medical doctors still tell patients that chiropractic will not help their conditions and may even harm them (this is a violation of the law), many MD's do refer patients nowadays. We have had a number of referrals over the years from medical doctors. We are always willing to work with a patient's medical doctor for the benefit of the patient.
