Smart training looks like:
-times to push and times to rest
-times to build muscle and times to maintain muscle
-time on sport specific training and time cross training
-time learning about fueling, recovery, and rehab
-time physically preparing, time mentally preparing
-times when you diligently follow your coach and times when you speak up/ advocate for yourself with your coach and together modify something in your training.
-time sleeping
-time enjoying other activities in your life besides your training.
