New Beginnings is currently looking for full-time mental health therapists. Our organization provides Residential Treatment, Day Treatment, and Intensive Outpatient Services to children and teens 9-17 years old. Therapists work with residents and outpatient clients to provide quality, effective, and efficient mental healthcare. New Beginnings providers enjoy a great deal of flexibility and autonomy, with competitive pay. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
· Provide direct, evidence-based, clinical services including mental health assessments, individual and family psychotherapy, crisis intervention and case management services to clients and their families.
· Coordinate care and provide consistent updates to parents, insurance companies, hospital staff, social workers, the treatment team, and clinical supervisors.
· Link clients to Hopeful Beginnings’ wrap-around services and other community resources as needed
· Maintain a consistent client caseload
· Maintain regular current progress notes and manage treatment goals
· Provide information to community partners as appropriate and authorized
· Team with Clinical supervisors on difficult cases as well as help maintaining client files
· Provide other appropriate clinical services as needed
Requirements:
· Current CSW, LCSW, ACMHC, CMHC, AMFT or LMFT license issued by Utah DOPL
· Must have current First Aid and CPR Certification as well as an approved DHS/OL Background Check
Other Items:
· A flexible schedule with some evening availability is a plus
· Spanish speaking is an advantage, but not required
· Excellent written and verbal skills is a must
· Supervision is provided weekly for those working on hours towards licensure
