💛🌼We're a little late to the July but this sweet old lady was worth the wait!🌼💛 Beanie has been seen several times in the last couple of months for a corneal ulcer. To diagnose this condition we apply a stain to the eye which highlights the area with the ulcer (as seen in the last photo). Luckily Beanie has been responding well to treatment and is on the road to recovery. P.S. This little Beanie baby is over 19 years old!

As the 4th of July approaches be sure you and your pets are prepared! 🎆 🐶 Avoid fireworks and loud noises, provide a quiet retreat where your pet can rest, and ensure that they have proper ID. If your pet requires anxiety or sedative medication, please call as soon as possible!

🩷🍒Our June is one fashionable girl! 🍒🩷 Miss Minnie had a TPLO surgery with our mobile surgery team earlier this year to correct a torn CCL. Many pets that require surgery on one leg often end up needing surgery on the other leg as well. Unfortunately, Minnie was one of those dogs. Luckily she is recovering well from her second TPLO procedure and has maintained her sweet disposition through the whole process.

☀🌡It is National Heat Awareness Day! As the weather warms up our pets are at more risk of overheating and heatstroke. Brachycephalic breeds (like bulldogs, Boston terriers, and boxers), dogs with thick coats, and overweight pets are most at risk. If your pets are showing any of these symptoms, contact your nearest vet or emergency clinic. ☀🔥
