April Donor Spotlight:

This month, we proudly recognize the Penn Highlands Clearfield & Huntingdon Auxiliaries, for their recent successful galas, held to support Penn Highlands Healthcare and its patients.

The Penn Highlands Clearfield Auxiliary's 113th Charity Gala "Love is in the Air," was held January 31st at the Copper Cork Event Center in Clearfield. Proceeds from their event will help to purchase an ultrasound bladder scanner for Penn Highlands Clearfield.

On March 21st, the Penn Highlands Huntingdon Auxiliary held the 71st Annual Gala "Hope in Bloom," at the Lake Raystown Resort and Conference Center. Proceeds from their event benefited cancer care at Penn Highlands Huntingdon.

The Penn Highlands Clearfield Auxiliary has purchased equipment and helped to fund hospital projects over their 110 years in existence. The auxiliary raises money through the Annual Charity Ball, the Cottage Gift Shop and summer events they have held over the years.

The Penn Highlands Huntingdon Auxiliary has donated and supported hospital services and projects since 1913. To fund these services and projects, the auxiliary relies on financial support from their memberships, community donations and the annual Gala.

It's that time of year again when golfers are returning to the greens to shoot 18 holes and it won't be long until the 2026 Penn Highlands Healthcare/KTH Architects Golf Classic.

This year's event will be held on Friday, June 12, at three courses:

Pleasant Valley Golf Club in Connellsville, PA & Treasure Lake Gold and Treasure Lake Silver Courses in DuBois, PA

Registration for the scramble begins at 8:00 AM with a shotgun start at 9:00 AM. The day will feature new and exciting games, prizes and raffles. It will conclude with a celebratory dinner where awards will be announced.

Proceeds will directly support emergency care throughout the Penn Highlands Healthcare system to ensure that our friends, families and neighbors have access to lifesaving medical intervention when every second counts. From advanced equipment to clothing for victims of trauma, your participation will help us provide world-class care in our most critical moments.

Deadline to register is May 26, 2026.

We were honored to host Senator Wayne Langerholc at Penn Highlands DuBois! As a steadfast advocate for Penn Highlands Healthcare, the Senator’s continued support is vital as we work to bring a new linear accelerator (LINAC) to the Hahne Regional Cancer Center.

This cutting-edge technology allows for incredibly precise cancer radiotherapy, targeting tumors while sparing healthy tissue. By championing advanced medical equipment, Senator Langerholc helps ensure our patients have access to the best possible treatment options right here in our community.

We are deeply grateful for Senator Langerholc’s dedication to our mission. His vision for a healthier region allows us to remain at the forefront of compassionate, effective cancer care for all those we serve.

The Building Brighter Futures Together Campaign, to benefit the Penn Highlands Connellsville Regional Center for Autism, came to a close last week with a Business After Hours at the school. The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the Connellsville Chamber of Commerce, hosted the event. Senator Pat Stefano, along with county and local governmental dignitaries, staff, and community members toured the school to learn about the indoor and outdoor educational and safety improvements needed. Proceeds from the campaign will be put towards these improvements to ensure that all students are supported in a safe and education focused environment. Thank you to everyone who came to support the Business After Hours and to those who donated in support of the campaign!
