🩺 TruCare is hiring a skilled Phlebotomist/Outreach Coordinator to join our State College office.

Responsibilities:

· Perform venipuncture and blood sampling while adhering to aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and specimen integrity.
· Collect, label, and process specimens accurately for laboratory analysis.
· Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health regulations.
· Provide exceptional patient service by explaining procedures to patients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring comfort during the process.
· Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow
· Stay updated on laboratory protocols to enhance service delivery.
· Work closely with our Outreach department- going to outpatient clinics
· Follow up with patients and complete tasks with the Outreach Department

Skills:

· Proficient in laboratory procedures and techniques related to phlebotomy.
· Experience in clinical laboratory settings, with a strong emphasis on patient service.
· Familiarity with specimen collection/processing protocols and aseptic techniques.
· Ability to work effectively, demonstrating excellent patient care skills.
· Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals effectively.

🩺TruCare is looking to hire a full-time Certified Medical Assistant at our DuBois location!
As a Medical Assistant, you will be:
· Verifying information by interviewing patients, confirming purpose of office visit
· Taking and recording vital signs, medical history, medication, and allergies
· Assist with prescription refills as per physician order
· Collect specimens and follow up on diagnostic testing
· Educate and prepare patients for treatments and procedures including but not limited to wound care
· Assist the physician during exams and medical procedures
· Administer vaccines and maintain records
· Triage and manage incoming phone messages
· Ensure safety procedures are followed
· Maintain accurate and confidential, up to date patient information in Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
· Obtain prior authorizations for requested testing and procedures.
Skills
· Medical office experience with knowledge of electronic medical record’s is preferred.
· Display pleasant and professional attitude
· Ability to accurately prioritize clinical tasks
· Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
· Demonstrates ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
· Comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
· CPR certification preferred
· Must be a Certified Medical Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth.
