shhhh! It’s a surprise!!

With Doctor’s Day quickly approaching on March 30th.
This year, for Dr. O’Bryon, we were hoping his patients would write some nice messages/memories/thanks/etc for him.
We plan on putting these all together in a nice album for him. 💙
We would like to include O’Bryon Eye patients in this too!
Dr. O’Bryon has helped many patients over the years and has built many long-lasting friendships!

We are hopeful to get many message from everyone for him to enjoy and know how truly special he is!

It’s with a heavy heart to say the O’Bryon’s beautiful German shepherd, Remy, unexpectedly passed away yesterday. Milly and Dr. O’Bryon and the entire office family will miss her dearly. She was a wonderful and loyal dog. 🤍

Welcome to O’Bryon Family Medicine!

Our Mission is to provide the highest quality medical care for you, your family, and our community for years to come. Our team includes Dr. James E. O’Bryon, Dr. Kristin O’Bryon Renwick, and our Physician Assistants, Hillary Marshall and Jennifer Bell.

Dr. James E. O’Bryon was born and raised in DuBois, PA. In 1978, he graduated from Clarion University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He attended graduate school at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia and graduated with honors in 1984. Dr. O’Bryon married his high school sweetheart, Milly, and together they returned to their hometown and started their own practice O’Bryon Eye Associates. They opened an office in Reynoldsville in May 1984 and DuBois in November 1984.

After 12 successful and enjoyable years of optometry, Dr. O’Bryon decided in 1996 to return to medical school, allowing him to better the health and wellness of his patients even more, and graduated from the University of Health Sciences in 2001. He completed a residency in Family Medicine at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, OH, serving as a Chief Resident in his last year. Upon finishing his residency, Dr. O’Bryon opened a private practice, O’Bryon Family Medicine, in 2007. He currently practices both of his specialties.

Dr. O’Bryon is a member of the American Optometric Association, Pennsylvania Optometric Association, and the Pennsylvania Medical Society. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and is on the active staff at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
