We are adding a new position to better serve our community. We hope to find the right person as soon as possible. We currently have 2.5 FTE SUDS counselors, and this employee will join them to increase our capacity to provide treatment.
SUBSTANCE USE COUNSELOR
Seeking a Full-time substance use counselor to fulfill the below-listed job duties. The candidate must be a CADC and willing to complete training related to DUI Evaluations and Risk Education services.
Complete ASAM Interviews, Assessment, Treatment Plans, and Level of Care
Complete DUI Evaluations, and provide individual and group substance use counseling and risk education services
Complete assessments for individuals with co-occurring diagnoses, including individuals referred from parole, probation, and DCFS
Participate in treatment team meetings and case coordination
Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner

Salary will vary, depending on education and experience.
