If I had a nickel for every time I heard I would love to run/walk with you but my knees are bad. Evidence shows we are exactly what you need. Let us help you become better. Join us for a walk and/or run. There are so many benefits to joining a club. Accountability and consistency are at the top of the list. I promise, the hardest step is the one to get you out the door. Meet us on Tuesday nights at 7 pm Croessman Square downtown Du Quoin and Saturday mornings at 8 a.m. in front of the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds Grandstand. Everyone welcome. All fitness levels welcome. Just show up in comfortable shoes.

Our very own mother and son duo, Jackie and Jon Gomes, found gold at the Murphysboro St. Patrick’s Day 5K this morning; they won best overall female and male runner. Congratulations!!!

The Herrin Sports Complex is a 1.3-mile loop, so:

✔️ You can run or walk at your own pace

Our goal isn’t speed. It’s community.
We do our best to stick together, encourage each other, and make sure everyone feels welcome—whether you’re training for a marathon or just starting out.

Thanks to Jackie & Jesse Gomes you have a chance to win the pot at a prediction run this Sunday, February 8th at 3 pm. Meet in front of grandstand at Du Quoin State Fairgrounds. Walkers and runners both welcome. ANYONE CAN WIN. It’s not about who’s the fastest. You can be dead last and still win.

Show up. Bring $1. Guess the time it will take you to complete the distance. Two distances to pick from. The person closest to their time WINS!!! The catch is…. No watches or phones allowed.

What a great return on investment. Better health and more money. And dont worry, you’ll be home in time for the Super Bowl. Weather is predicted to be great for this time of year.
