Today we made appreciation bees to spread a little kindness around the building! 🐝💛 The residents wrote sweet and encouraging messages on the back and passed them out to the staff to show their appreciation. Such a simple gesture, but it brought so many smiles and reminded everyone how much they are valued.

Nails, nails, nails — everyone loves getting their nails done! 💅 The residents had such a great time being pampered and picking out their colors. Just look at how beautiful they turned out! A little self-care and sparkle can truly brighten the day and bring so many smiles. ✨💕

For We Care Wednesday, we decided to show our care and love for our nurse, Mattie. We normally go out into the community, but this week we wanted to celebrate one of our own staff members. The residents hand-painted adorable onesies for Mattie to show their appreciation for the wonderful care and kindness she gives them each day. It was such a heartfelt and special activity filled with love, creativity, and gratitude. 💕👶🎨

Our veterans would like to wish everyone a Happy Memorial Day. 🇺🇸 Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives while serving our country. Thank you to all who have served and sacrificed for our freedom. May we never forget their courage and dedication. ❤️🤍💙

A beautiful luminaria display was created in honor of our fallen soldiers this Memorial Day. The glowing lights served as a touching tribute to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. As each luminaria shined, we paused to remember, reflect, and give thanks for their courage and service. 🇺🇸🕯️

Our residents also created their own version of the luminaria display, putting love, creativity, and remembrance into each one. It was a meaningful activity that allowed everyone to honor and remember our heroes in a special way. ❤️

This afternoon we got musically inclined! The sound of music truly helps relax the soul. We enjoyed spending time together playing music with various instruments, singing along, and sharing smiles. It was a peaceful and uplifting afternoon filled with joy, laughter, and relaxation.

Today we played a fun memorization game! Residents had 30 seconds to study 5 different items, then we covered them up and everyone tried to remember what they were. It was a great way to exercise our brains while having lots of fun and laughter together. Everyone did an amazing job and enjoyed the challenge!

Friday mornings are for relaxation and fun! Today we enjoyed some friendly competition and laughter with a few board games. It was the perfect way to start the day, spending time together, making memories, and keeping our minds active. What a wonderful morning filled with smiles and good company!
