For all of you who are using the run/ walk method of training, this is the man who developed it as a strategy. The Galloway Method changed the lives of countless people. From couch potatoes to runners. It's a sad day for the running community. May he RIP

Jeff Galloway, a member of the 1972 U.S. Olympic team who for decades inspired elite athletes and countless everyday runners by promoting a run-walk-run strategy, whether in a marathon or just a neighborhood jog, died Wednesday at age 80.

Acute Vs. Proactive Chiropractic Care

Acute Care: This is when you seek chiropractic treatment when you are experiencing pain and stop when the pain is gone.

Proactive Care: This focuses on preventing problems before they start, rather than just treating existing pain or symptoms. This involves chiropractic treatment on a regular basis, either weekly, bi-weekly or monthly even when symptoms are absent. The idea is to maintain proper spinal alignment and joint mobility for optimal body function, prevention of future pain and injuries and improved overall well-being.

Most patients in this category started out as acute care patients and have decided after the issue was resolved to be proactive in maintaining mobility in the joints of their spine and extremities.

Post ride was told to lift my bike overhead for a better picture and being a goofball I did. Grateful for carbon bikes and not straining my rotator cuff muscle 😜😂😎
