Sweet, little Hyatt Lawson, a native of Dublin-Laurens County, recently visited our Same Day Surgery crew to have her tonsils and adenoids removed. No matter how big or small a procedure may be, surgery is still a big deal that can come with some big emotions and a lot of anxiety - especially when it’s someone’s little one being taken back to the OR. However, at Fairview, we always strive to keep uncertainty at bay as we realize the whole experience is just as important as the quality of care received.

“We recently had our very first experience with the Same-Day Surgical Center at Fairview Park Hospital as my 4-year old daughter, Hyatt, had her tonsils and adenoids removed. From the moment we checked in until we loaded up in the car to go home, we were so well cared for. All the nurses, physicians, and staff members took every effort to make my daughter (and us, as her parents) feel comfortable and not anxious. Each step was well explained and we felt welcomed to ask any questions we had. I feel so grateful that we have access to such an incredible hospital right here in our hometown in Middle Georgia.
