Last night, flight nurses Rayna and Anna Claire had the privilege of attending the Dublin High School football game and presenting the game ball 🏈 to Mrs. Annette Smith and her family in memory of Judge Stan Smith. Air Evac Lifeteam 102- Dublin, GA performed a fly over as the ball was handed off 🚁🇺🇸 Judge Smith was a pillar of the Dublin community, and a lifelong supporter of Irish athletics🍀 AE 176 & AE 102 are both honored to have been a part of the pregame festivities! 💚

883AE did her best impersonation of a Black Hawk today as we landed at Hunter Army Airfield to complete an IFR patient transfer 🫡 🇺🇸

To help expedite the ground transport portion of IFR flights into Savannah, we have worked with Hunter AAF to obtain a civilian landing permit. This allows us to land our aircraft at the military base, which is much closer to the hospital than Savannah International Airport. So huge shout out to Hunter and Chatham EMS for helping us provide access to our communities!

Yesterday evening our base along with our friends at Air Evac Lifeteam 102- Dublin, GA had a few important leadership visitors and they brought some well deserved awards with them! 🏆 Flight Nurse Rob Garnto was honored as one of only 7 people in the state of Georgia to have completed 1500+ patient flights!🤯👏🏼 Then, our Senior Program Director Britta Thomason was awarded the Employee of the Month for the entire South Region! 🤩🥇We don’t know what we would do without either of these invaluable superstars, and hope we never have to find out! Presenting their awards was Brett Jovanovich - GMR South Region Vice President!

We also had Jon Warren - Regional Director of Flight Operations, Mike Chatten - Regional Director of Maintenance Operations, and Rafe Waters - Regional Director of Georgia present and we were happy to have them come by and visit, chat, and have a nice meal.

UPDATE❗️A sweet family came and took BOTH of these little boys home! We are so happy they were taken together and hope they love their new family! Thanks to everyone for all the shares!

Saving more than human lives today! 🐶🐾 These two pups wandered up onto our base property and our medic Charles rescued them! They’ve had baths, water, and food and are looking for their FURever home! 😍 Come pick up a puppy and get a free tour of our helicopter! (As much as we wish we could keep them they’re not allowed to stay at our base 😩 someone please come get these cuties so they don’t have to sit at animal control for weeks!)

Today is for our top notch medics - Charles, TJ, Cory, Marcus, & Perry thank you for your dedication to your patients and community! We also want to give a big shout out to the paramedics we encounter every day on scenes, in hospitals, and everywhere in between!

Today, we honor the dedication of our ground and flight paramedics who are trained to respond in critical moments when every second counts. Their skill, compassion and bravery are vital to the communities they serve. Thank you for your service.
