5 Things I’d Work on in January to Improve Your Golf Swing
(From a TPI-Certified Fitness Professional)

1️⃣ Hip Mobility
Limited hips = lost rotation, early extension, and stress on your back. You can’t rotate what doesn’t move.

2️⃣ Thoracic Rotation
Your upper back should rotate so your lower back doesn’t have to. This is huge for consistency and longevity.

3️⃣ Ground Forces
Power starts from the ground up. If you can’t load, shift, and push through the ground efficiently, speed will always be limited.

4️⃣ Strength
Mobility without strength is useless. Strength is what allows you to use your range of motion under speed.

5️⃣ Rotational Power
Once mobility and strength are in place, power is the final layer. This is where clubhead speed and distance actually improve.

🧠 Train the foundation now. Don’t wait for the season to expose weak links.
🏌️ Stronger, more mobile golfers swing better—and hurt less.
