We love it when our neighbors from Tutor Time come to visit! The four-year-olds bring out the teacher in our residents who spent their careers in the classroom, and the joy and laughter that fill the room are immeasurable. 💛

Our residents light up when the kids arrive, and the little ones benefit from building meaningful intergenerational friendships. It’s truly a win-win for everyone — and a whole lot of fun!

Your generosity helps fund vital research, education, and support for individuals and families impacted by Alzheimer’s disease.

Our recent Family Night was filled with laughter, games, and sweet treats as families, residents, and staff came together for a carnival-themed evening. Everyone had the chance to try their hand at the Fish Pond, Ball in the Cup, and of course, the always-entertaining Water Balloon Toss!

No Boardwalk is complete without cotton candy and snow cones, and our culinary team outdid themselves once again with classic favorites. To make the night even sweeter, our staff hosted a dessert contest featuring everything from Tres Leches cake to flan to brownie bites. Congratulations to our caregiver, D.J., who took home the win with his delicious cupcakes!

It was truly an evening for all ages—young and old alike—filled with community, friendships, and fun memories. Thank you to everyone who joined us in making Family Night so special! ❤️

Caring for someone living with dementia can be both rewarding and challenging. As the condition progresses, behavioral changes may occur that are confusing or distressing for both the person living with dementia and the caregiver. This lecture will provide an evidence-based framework so participants will be able to understand, assess, and manage these behaviors in different settings.
Dr. Scharre will explore practical & person- centered strategies to support both individuals living with dementia and the professionals and family members who care for them.
Who Should Attend:
• Memory care and assisted living staff
• Occupational and speech therapists
• Case managers and home health professionals
• Anyone involved in dementia care or care planning
This presentation is open to the community and healthcare professionals.
The program is approved for 1.0 CEUs for nurses and social workers.

At Dublin Glenn, we support our residents through a variety of independent and group activities designed to enhance cognitive development, fine motor skills, and self-expression. These activities not only encourage creativity and independence but also provide meaningful engagement and comfort during moments of restlessness or stress.

Whether it’s exploring tactile boards, participating in group programs, or enjoying personal hobbies, our goal is to create opportunities that enrich daily life and promote well-being.

Our beloved duck family has officially flown the nest! 🦆💚 After weeks of bringing smiles, laughter, and peaceful moments to our residents, staff, and visiting families, they’ve taken off for their next big adventure. One little duck did need a helping hand and is now in the care of Ohio Wildlife Center for rehabilitation—we’re hopeful she’ll join her siblings soon.

Watching them grow was a true joy and a beautiful reminder of the simple wonders in life. We’ll miss them dearly and hope to welcome a new generation back to Dublin Glenn next spring. Until then, we’ll cherish the memories and the joy they brought to our community.

What a joyful evening we had at our Singin’ in the Rain Family Night! Dr. Dance brought the energy, getting everyone movin’ and groovin’—we even formed a Love Train!

Events like these serve as a special reminder of how meaningful it is for residents and families to enjoy time together. The sense of community, connection, and laughter filled the room all night long.

A special thank you to our incredible dietary team for the delicious appetizers and desserts that kept everyone energized and smiling as we danced the night away!

Dublin Glenn’s first outing is in the books! We partnered with the Dublin Connector for a wonderful afternoon at Balgriffin Park. Residents enjoyed a picnic lunch featuring Popeyes, bubbles, and live music from our talented music therapist, Julia. It was the perfect mix of sunshine, laughter, and community connection.

Thank you to everyone who made this outing such a success—we're looking forward to many more adventures to come!

This week's beautiful weather was the perfect excuse to take our game outdoors! Residents showed off their basketball skills with a friendly game of HORSE.

In addition to some impressive hand-eye coordination, we enjoyed the sunshine, cool breezes, and great company. There’s nothing better than spending a summer afternoon together, having fun, and staying active.

In this group, you’ll:
• Gain helpful tips and techniques for caregiving.
• Learn approaches that have worked for others in similar situations.
• Share your experiences and advice with fellow caregivers.
We’re here to empower and support each other through the caregiving journey! This group is open to anyone who has a loved one living with dementia or is a caregiver to someone living with dementia.
