Last Friday, our Omatochi team stepped out to connect, listen, and learn at a career fair and we came back inspired. 💛
We met so many thoughtful, curious individuals who are passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives. From conversations about meaningful work in senior care to sharing how we’re building stronger support systems for older adults, every interaction reminded us why we do what we do.
At Omatochi, we’re not just building a service. We’re building a community where seniors feel supported, connected, and valued. And it was incredible to meet people who want to be part of that mission.

Older adults lose billions of dollars each year to financial scams. Awareness is one of the most powerful ways to prevent it.
At the Aging Well Expo, Lamar Thorpe and Tammy Lee from team Omatochi performed a short skit showing how scammers create urgency to pressure seniors into making quick decisions. The key message was simple and powerful:
“If it sounds too urgent, it’s probably a scam.”
Through humor and real-life scenarios, the skit helped highlight how these scams work and reminded everyone how important it is to pause, verify, and talk to someone you trust.
Education and awareness can make all the difference in protecting our seniors. 💚
