Happy National Pet Week! 🐾💛

We’re celebrating the incredible impact pets have on the lives of those we care for—like Emma Norris, OT and Director of Rehabilitation, and her 10-month-old goldendoodle, Beanie!

Beanie joins Emma at StoryPoint Troy most days, already bringing comfort, joy, and plenty of smiles to residents. While she’s working toward becoming a certified therapy dog later this year, she’s proven she has a natural gift. During her very first week visiting, Emma and Beanie came across a resident in need. As Emma alerted staff and stayed by their side, Beanie instinctively curled up in the resident’s lap—offering warmth and comfort until help arrived. 💕

It was a moment that made one thing clear: Beanie is meant for this work.

This National Pet Week, we’re so grateful for the healing, companionship, and unconditional love that animals bring into our lives. 🐶💛
