Bound Tree Medical is proud to sponsor the Gary Letizia Memorial Blood Drives in New Jersey.

Together with Dr. Matthew Letizia and an incredible community of donors, volunteers, and partners, this effort has reached an extraordinary milestone: 5,000 pints of blood donated through 146 drives since 2021.

Each donation represents hope for someone in need. With every pint having the potential to save up to three lives, this collective effort may have helped impact as many as 15,000 patients, neighbors, families, and friends.

Thank you to everyone who continues to honor Gary Letizia’s legacy through service, generosity, and community.

Heroes in Action – Agency Spotlight: Royal Ambulance

This month, we’re proud to spotlight Royal Ambulance, a private ambulance provider headquartered in San Leandro, California, serving their community since 2006.

Led by Steve Grau, CEO and owner (and current President of the California Ambulance Association) Royal Ambulance operates 115 ambulances staffed by dedicated EMTs, Paramedics, and Critical Care Nurses committed to exceptional patient care. Most recently, they were awarded the 911 provider contract for Burning Man, reflecting the trust placed in their team and capabilities.

Royal Ambulance has been a loyal Bound Tree Medical customer since March 2008 and is proudly supported by Brian Hartley, their Account Manager and a retired Paramedic who understands what providers need in the field.

Thank you, Royal Ambulance, for being true heroes in action.

Today we recognize the EMS professionals who show up every day, ready to serve.

At our office, the coin wall tells that story. Each challenge coin on it represents a first responder organization we are proud to support. They are tangible reminders of trust, service, and partnership with the EMS community.

On EMS Recognition Day, we say thank you to our first responder customers for the dedication, resilience, and commitment you bring to every call. We are honored to support the work you do and the lives you protect.

Today is Stop the Bleed® Day.

Life‑threatening bleeding can happen anywhere, and access to training and bleeding control tools saves lives. Many organizations qualify for grant and preparedness funding that can help offset the cost of hands‑on training and bleeding control equipment.

We work with agencies every day that are building or expanding Stop the Bleed initiatives. Whether you are launching new training or replenishing supplies, we can help align your program needs with available funding opportunities.

EMS Week is about recognizing every part of the job, including the mental and emotional weight that often goes unseen.

We’re proud to support First Responders’ Bridge and their mission to help first responders access confidential mental health resources when they need it most.
